Actor's Warm-UP Class:
A Psychophysical practice for body, breath and imagination. Using a combination of Alexander Technique, Theater Movement techniques and Margolis Method, Belinda will lead you through a series of exercises to expand your embodied imagination, let go of tension or patterns, and fine-tune your specificity as an actor.

Monologues and Songs Coaching Hour:
A process of preparing a monologue or song using the Alexander Technique and Belinda’s directing skills.
This is time to find your footing, expand your connection to the text, open up your imagination – or a fresh approach.
This a guided rehearsal, not a critique – it is time to find encouragement, direction and flow.
Tuesdays 1:00 – 2:00 pm - sign up for a 1/2 hour slot

Balance Arts Center Classes:
Ann Rodiger developed the Balance Arts Floor Class to present movement through the lens of the Alexander Technique. She has combined her knowledge and experience of the Alexander Technique, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Feldenkrais, Yoga and various dance techniques in creating this class.
• Work with the whole body coordination to find your balance and center through an extended session on the floor.
• Focus on your breathing, ease, coordination and directions.
• Work slowly and carefully to build your awareness of your limbs in relation to your head, neck and back.
• Increase your awareness of joint articulation.
• Integrate what you have learned to standing and walking.

Balance Arts Center Alexander Teacher Training Course
The Balance Arts Center Alexander Technique Teacher Training Course endeavors to offer the highest standard of teacher training in the Alexander Technique. We create an uplifting and inspiring environment where optimal learning takes place and student can bet embody the principles taught in the Alexander Technique.
Becoming a teacher of the Alexander Technique will allow you to assist others in improving their own use and do whatever they choose to do with more skill and ease. Students who complete the course will be skilled in hands-on work and knowledge about the theory and history of the Technique.
The course will include 1600 hours of instruction within a 3-5 year period. The student-teacher ratio will average 5 students to 1 teacher. Students graduation from the BAC Course will be eligible for certification through The American Society of the Alexander Technique (AmSAT).
