Our mission is to cultivate the connection between Acting and the Alexander Technique. We hope to stimulate you to explore the the power of the Alexander Technique through informing, educating and providing experiences about it.
We aim to make the Alexander Technique accessible and available to actors at every level, so all can benefit from the work. We also want to provide opportunities for Alexander Technique professionals to expand and refine their understanding of the Alexander Technique as it applies to the specific skills an actor needs.
We bring people together to explore an essential process that is foundational to the empowerment of actors —in their work and in their lives. We help people let go of tension and strain so they can be more free—more authentic and honest in their work, ready to open up their creativity and to play.
"I can immediately tell the difference between actors who have studied the Alexander Technique, and those who haven’t."
- Sam Mendes, Academy Award-Winning Director
